Late last week, eBay contacted IPac with concerns about our auction for the free-culture-stuffed iPod that was refused by John Kerry's campaign. Most of it was minor (i.e. we linked to outside websites from the auction, which is no-no), but one issue dragged this into the weekend: at first, the eBay representative claimed that iPods pre-loaded with *anything* could not be sold on eBay. We explained that the content was all public domain or Creative Commons-licensed, but no dice. The matter was finally resolved when an eBay IP attorney cleared things up by confirming that they're only concerned about selling gear that's loaded with copyrighted material.

So now we're back online.
