IPac Board

David Alpert, President. David has been interested in online political organizing since the Internet first began to be a mass medium. In addition to starting IPac, David founded Cosmopolity, a New York-based organization dedicated to fostering political action through social interaction, organized Blogger Alley at The Tank during the Republican National Convention, and runs the Web site for Drinking Liberally, a national Democratic drinking club. By day, David works as a Product Manager at Google. These other organizations are not affiliated in any way with IPac. You can reach David at alpert@ipaction.org.

Ren Bucholz, Treasurer. Ren has worked in television, radio, Net radio and print for nearly a decade. He blogs regularly at the Electronic Frontier Foundation's miniLinks and somewhat less frequently at trubble.com and Yale Law School's Lawmeme. Ren used to manage a noncommercial radio station and worked for one of the first Internet broadcasters. He was also a freelance graphic designer and still does a little of that from time to time. Ren currently manages the Electronic Frontier Foundation's grassroots activism network, where he translates EFF's technical and legal work into public campaigns. His work at IPac is not connected to these other endeavors. You can contact Ren at ren@ipaction.org.

Eric Ries, Secretary. Eric is a software developer and technology entreprenuer, currently at IMVU. He is a contributor to diverse free software projects, co-author of several books, and has been involved with conservative and libertarian political activism. He can be reached at eric@ipaction.org.
